Lauren Rodgers is a remarkable young leader with a deep commitment to making a difference in the lives of children battling pediatric cancer. As a Junior Golfer and Miss Loudoun County’s Teen, Lauren has shown excellence both on and off the course, using her platform to raise awareness and advocate for those in need.

Driven by a profound sense of empathy and a desire to give back, Lauren founded Kids Overcoming Adversity with Love and Action (KOALA) to provide support, raise awareness, and generate much-needed funding for pediatric cancer research. Her vision for KOALA is to create a community where love and action intersect to bring hope and help to children and families facing the challenges of childhood cancer.

Lauren’s journey as an advocate began when she saw the struggles of young cancer patients and felt compelled to do something impactful. She recognized the need for more resources, research, and public awareness about pediatric cancer. Through KOALA, Lauren channels her passion and energy into initiatives that directly benefit those affected by this devastating disease.
In addition to her advocacy work, Lauren is also a talented athlete, known for her dedication and competitive spirit in the world of junior golf. Her accomplishments in both pageantry and sports demonstrate her determination, resilience, and ability to lead by example.
Lauren’s leadership extends beyond her achievements—she is a role model for her peers and a beacon of hope for the children and families she supports. With KOALA, Lauren continues to inspire others to join her in the fight against pediatric cancer, embodying the organization’s mission to overcome adversity with love and action.
